There’s an attitude to Natasha Zinko’s SS19 collection and it starts off with an interesting colour palette. As one of a limited number of female streetwear designers, Natasha Zinko has always kept her attitude URBAN and this season she went even further with even more interesting designs in a line up that featured denim patchwork, racey corset, logo straps, glossy fabrics, and other unique prints.
Post-show at London Fashion Week, Natasha Zinko said,
“We had fun with this collection, maybe even a little too much fun,”
The designer, being a modern generation creative, thought of ways to make this collection come together by re-working the terms; “sourcing and sustainability.” For instance, she turned old waistbands into bandage dresses and dead-stock wrangler materials into additions for the deconstructed denim pieces. The collection mirrored the different taste in urban women, and while you could find strapless gowns, pastel pencil glossy skirts, thigh high slit skirts, you still saw a lot of interesting androgynous looks all of which showed off how interchangeable style can be.
