LFDW Day 1 had designers setting the hall on fire! After seeing Style Temple‘s Pre-Spring 2018 collection, I was looking forward to what the brand had in store for their SS18 collection and as usual, they did not disappoint seeing as they got loud cheers from the audience as each piece sashayed down the runway.
The collection highlighted women as the backbone of the society. The designs reminded me of all the characters in Sex and The City‘s. The collection played with soft architectural structures and bold yet sensual colours, a combination which brought both power and sass to the collection.
The collection featured sheer tulle skirts, ruffled jackets with fitting pant, jumpsuit with cutout details, maxi dress with accordion pleats and a strategic side cutout, belted kimono, embellished shift and more were while closing with an embellished white dress that would definitely fit nicely into a wedding collection.
