A fashion and culture enthusiast who's really a food loving…
Ejiro Amos Tafiri was definitely one of the show stoppers for the opening night of Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week. The womenswear brand presented a mix of sensual handpainted prints, laces, sequin, shimmering fabrics and more.
EAT went daring with embellished details on sheer dresses, jumpsuits, and more filled up the collection. Ejiro did a play on sensual, racy detail and settling for completely sheer creations with embellishments that popped and layers of gorgeous prints that swayed effortlessly without leaving out the beautiful, perfectly executed drapery that’s synonymous with her brand.
The Ejiro Amos Tafiri SS18 collection is aptly named Birds of Paradise. In a press release about the new collection, the label said,
Our creative director, who whilst conceptualizing this collection, was inspired by the the dynamic nature of life. The collection is an embodiment of the belief that beauty can emanate from a dark place. In essence all forms and stages of life are beautiful.
The breezy and fluid nature of the pieces depict the life of a sexy, elegant, daring and confident woman with a positive perspective to life.
The intricate details on the pieces have been brought to life by a combination of textures, hues and prints that embody the concepts of freedom and a positive perspective to life.
