Because whether you’re a style connoisseur or simply enjoy poring over some well-dressed, cosily clad dudes, we all appreciate a well-dressed man.
Fashion has a lot of high points and one of them is when an outfit turns out exactly the way it was planned in one’s head. Another is when a laidback outfit especially for the male Style Raven ends up looking much more stylish than expected. This can only be achieved when one knows the dos and don’ts of fashion and style.
Fashion is a very broad subject but when mastered, even the most basic of outfits end up looking great. Laidback outfits do not have to be boring but could be kept cool and wavy – after all, that’s what rave-worthy style is about.
Last week, our favourite Nigerian male celebrity styles were not just laidback, these men kept their style cool and sleek. From fully neutral toned outfits to prismatic looks, men in the Nigerian entertainment and fashion industries served all shades of effortless style last week and we could all definitely learn a thing or two from them.
Once again, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu served a major “father of the bride” look but made it look so appealing to the young eye. He wore an agbada set made with the popular African fabric, ‘aso-oke’ with a beautifully patterned embroidery on it.
Fashion influencer, Akin Faminu and former Big Brother Naija Contestant, Tobi Bakre did well in showing us what laidback and cool style looks like in their reflective prismatic outfits. Artists Perruzi and Reekado Banks’ style definition of laidback and cool proved different as they both stuck to all black looks which totally worked for them. We love how our SR Gents each defined what laidback and cool style is to them.
