It’s normal to bump into a sequined dress or embellished purse at a party, but designer Mimi Yina explored something less conventional: “agbada.” Agbada has been a long-standing staple in African menswear, but in recent years, androgynous concepts extended this outfit to everyone.
Since then, women have added their spin past previously unimaginable borders. This time, Mimi Yina, known by her business name MedlinBoss, added sparkle to the traditional outfit by rocking it with a white collared shirt and shimmering champagne pants. Even with the fit already screaming luxury, she applied more pressure with accessories: a hat, bold sunglasses, a quilt mini bag, and gold earrings.
