For the third time, Abuja hosted the Globacom Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards. The 2016 edition of GLO-CAF Awards held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja. CAF with major backing from Nigerian telecom company, Glo holds an annual ceremony to celebrate Africa’s best and also announce the African Player of the Year.
This year’s award ceremony was hosted by Richard Mofe-Damijo and Mimi Fawaz with the green carpet being held down by Joselyn Dumas and Gordons.
