Jay-Z is back on Instagram, again. The hip-hop mogul, who has long been one of the most prominent A-list holdouts on the service, uploaded his first—and so far only—post on Tuesday, August 29: the trailer for the Biblical epic “The Book of Clarence.” Jay’s posting of the film’s first trailer is significant because, technically, it marks his first Instagram post.

But back in 2021, Hov briefly went Instagram official to promote another film he executive produced, the revenge Western “The Harder They Fall,” before shutting down his page a day later. At the time, he had accumulated nearly 800,000 followers in just a few hours. At press time, the new account hyping Clarence had racked up around 130,000 followers.

2. Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ becomes first song to spend one year on US Billboard chart

Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has achieved another milestone as his song “Calm Down” with Selena Gomez became the first song in history to spend one year on top of the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart. American data collection company Chart Data disclosed this on Monday.

The song has spent 52 weeks at number one on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart. It peaked at number three on the main chart, the Billboard Hot 100, and reached number one on the Canadian Top Songs chart.

Halle Berry continues to age like fine wine, and now she is revealing how she does it. On Sunday, August 27, the Oscar winner fielded burning questions from fans while on Instagram Live, and then Berry got candid on how she maintains her health and wellness. ”Let me tell you, I am aging,” she said in the live session, “but I’m going down fighting. I’m going to accept that aging, I’m going to keep doing all my supplements,” said Berry, who pressed record on her Instagram Live to promote her new “side hustle” as Chief Communication Officer for Pendulum, a probiotic company that she adores.

“I loved it so much I reached out to the company and asked to be a part of it,” she explained to a user who joined the Live. For her, probiotics have been a game changer. Probiotics are a big part of her lifestyle that she swears by to help “metabolize my food.”

5. Bukayo Saka win the Men’s PFA Young Player of the Year award

Bukayo Saka has been named the Men’s PFA Young Player of the Year in recognition of his role in Arsenal’s unexpected title tilt. Saka saw off competition from the Premier League’s top scorer, Erling Haaland as well as midfield star Moises Caicedo to claim the prestigious award. He collected the trophy in person at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester. The winger inspired Arsenal to their best campaign in almost two decades, with the Gunners leading the Premier League title race for the majority of the season until Manchester City caught up with them in May. Saka scored 14 goals and contributed eight assists for Mikel Arteta’s side.

As well as piping Haaland and Caicedo to the Young Player of the Year Award, the 21-year-old beat his Arsenal teammate Gabriel Martinelli, Jacob Ramsey of Aston Villa, and Brighton’s teenage striker Evan Ferguson. The winger is next in action for Arsenal against Manchester United on Sunday.
