Last Week’s Best Beauty Looks Were A Calculated Interpretation Of Charm

f there was a word that perfectly sums up the beauty offerings last week, it’s intentional. The ladies were dang deliberate about the makeup and hairstyles they opted for, reminding us that a well-thought-out offering will always be a hit. From Yara Shahidi playing the contemporary sleek card to Chloe Bailey embracing retro 90s charm, Black celebs shook up the week with impressive beauty looks that were difficult to ignore.

The Looks

Yara Shahidi took understated glam to a remarkable height last week as she showed up at the ENVSN Festival. The look, created by Keita Moore, glorified her full brows, cheekbones, and full lips. It featured a dash of glitter on her eyelids, a well-contoured face, and glossy lips. In all, Shahidi’s impressive beauty look was effortless but still absolutely intentional.

In other news, Beyoncé brought the shimmer to Las Vegas for her Renaissance tour, and the city vibrated as a result. For the night, the megastar corresponded her sparkling outfit with an equally sparkling face beat. Her full brows, muted lips, rosy cheeks, and sharp winged liner needed a good dose of shine, and a silver eyeshadow answered that call.

Elsewhere, Chloe Bailey did justice to the retro 90s trend with a braided ponytail that was as both feminine and edgy as her bubble gum pink outfit.
