In support of the Fight Against Knife Crime, British actor, writer, rapper, singer and DJ, Idris Elba is expanding his 2HR SET fashion brand into a third collection this summer as part of his Don’t Stab Your Future #DSYF campaign.
Don’t Stab Your Future aims to raise awareness by amplifying the message against knife crimes and working towards a better future. The campaign and collection first originated in 2019 to raise awareness about knife crime.
Elba, 48, whose brand name was inspired by his career as a DJ and his global festival sets under the moniker DJ Big Driis, said: “We need to continue to amplify the message and drive people away from knife crime. ‘Don’t Stab Your Future’ is a statement I used when I was ranting about knife crime and was upset about a young person who had just lost their life and future. I want to support organizations and help people move away from violence.”
The collection includes hoodies and T-shirt’s embroidered with key messages within the campaign, including ‘Love Yourself’, ‘DSYF’ and ‘All Equal Under The Sun’. Each message aims to encourage better choices and brighter futures and for people to respect each other. Inspired by music and the dance floor, further consecutive drops will see collaborations with other iconic musicians and DJs bringing regular newness to the 2HR SET offering.
The collection is exclusively available online at 2hrset.com and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to multiple charities to support the Knife Crime Countermeasures initiative. Idris Elba 2hr set
