House of Jahdara has released latest collection tagged “Girl like Me.” The luxury womenswear brand features Ex-BBN star Bamike ‘Bambam’ Olawunmi as its muse for this collection.
According to a press statement,
“Fresh out of the Big Brother reality tv show, starlet Bambam was filled with so much vibrancy, joy and fun fueled by her positive energy. It was this we at House of Jahdara had in mind when we created this collection inspired by Bambam’s personality.”
According to Adesola Adepoju, Creative Director, House of Jahdara,
“Because it is special to me. From the day I set my eyes on her, I knew I was going to work with her. From dress pullouts for the red carpet and press rounds to have a whole collection inspired by her. It’s a happy moment for House of Jahdara.”
Bambam’s personality allows the collection to shine through as her vivacious and colourful character matches the energy levels produced by the pieces in the collection. Each piece in the collection is sartorially pleasing with the brand offering their signature pastel hues with clean lines. However, the womenswear brand approaches this collection with a playful and quirky design aesthetic with a twist that shows off the delicate intricacies, craftsmanship and style of this collection.
Bambam who was excited about this edit said,
