House Of Deola Sagoe’s SS19 Collection Is All About Heritage And Longevity | #HLFW18

A fashion and culture enthusiast who's really a food loving…
The last day of Heineken Lagos Fashion Week 2018 was action-packed as all the designers that showcased brought their A-Game. Deola Sagoe of House of Deola Sagoe as always brought fresh direction and stellar creativity with her SS19 collection which was filled with one-of-a-kind upscale designs for the modern woman.
The collection was made out of iridescent Aso Oke with her signature laser cuts, which we have become used to but definitely not tired of. The collection featured daring cuts, frills, fringes, ruffles, sequins that looked like peacock feathers, pleatings and other embellishments adorned on super chic dresses and jumpsuits in varying cuts. The collection had a remarkable closing with two sets of twin models, one set clad in pieces from House of Deola Sagoe, and the other in designs by CLAN – the fashion outfit owned by sisters Teni, Tiwa and Aba Sagoe, daughters Deola Sagoe.
Here’s a look at the collection…
