The Fendi Woman Takes A Play On Power And Romance In The Fendi RTW Fall 2018 At Milan Fashion Week 2018

A fashion and culture enthusiast who's really a food loving…
In 1982, the looks of the British upper class was exemplified by one Diana Spencer, future Princess of Wales. The look consisted of silky blouses, mid-length skirts and ladylike kerchiefs. This was most likely the inspiration for Karl Lagerfeld and the Fendi team for Fall 2018.
The Fendi Fall 2018 collection consisted of menswear plaids and checks in greys and browns set the tone which was offset by navys, plums and olives. Blazers and coats took a twist on shoulder pads as they were built literally boxy. A few romantic dresses made the lineup in white, embroidered with delicate flowers for a very pretty effect. Skirts and dresses featured sharp knife-pleating, sometimes hidden away under a more structured layer of wool. The collection also showcased a millennial twist in the form of fur sweatshirts with the Fila logo and on-trend Western boots in various leathers. Fendi also did not miss out on the logomania trend as they slapped their double-Fs on everything from coats to boots and of course the bags.
