e absolutely love it when Black women are achieving great feats and looking dang good while at it. This was the case last week as the girls went about their business earning accolades in their careers and serving serious slay in the beauty department. From Beyoncé to Halle Bailey and Tiwa Savage, the mission was to win and serve looks and Black stars delivered phenomenally.

The Looks

Makeup

Several years ago, we came to the conclusion that this is Beyoncé‘s world, and we’re only living in it. But if you had any doubts, we’re sure her Renaissance World Tour has set things straight. With each city and stage she takes over, Queen Bey brings a performance like no other there’s almost no other conversation beyond her. Last week, the megastar descended on the city of London and sent shock waves across town thanks to her powerful vocals, electric performance, and style offering. The mother-of-three opted for understated glam characterized by barely-there brows, muted lips, and subtle smokey eyes. A hint of gold eyeshadow and white eye pencil was used to add some interest to the look. No doubt, this was one of the best makeup looks spotted on a famous celebrity last week.

Meanwhile, the Queen of Afrobeats brought the Naija energy to the city of Rio de Janeiro. For her performance, Tiwa Savage opted for a hooded embellished skimpy top paired with low-waist jeans. To balance the edginess of the fit, the 43-year-old favored a subtle doll-up featuring full brows and a nude lippie. Of course, “Africa’s Baddest Gyal” hardly goes completely subtle with her face beat, so she recruited witchy lashes for some character. In all, this famous celebrity undoubtedly delivered with her makeup look.

Hair

With Barbiecore and everything Barbie-related running full steam in pop culture, Chloe Bailey decided to add a personalized touch to the trend. Last week, the singer brought a Harajuku Barbie vibe with a double bun hairdo with loose “antennas” in the front.
