In a shocking turn of events, former U.S. President Donald Trump was shot in the ear in an attempted assassination during a campaign rally on Saturday, an incident that is expected to significantly impact the current U.S. presidential race and raise critical questions about the security provided to the Republican candidate. The incident occurred as Trump was addressing a large crowd of supporters. In the moments following the shooting, Trump’s security agents quickly surrounded and shielded him.
