Last Week’s Best Beauty Looks Were A Charming Addition To The Week’s Slay Repertoire

he era of going all out to explore new ways to shine is upon us! Some take this literally and adorn themselves with a good dose of shimmer, because why not? Others take a more subtle approach by playing up sparkly accents. Last week, celebrities gave us the best of both worlds in the beauty department. From Zendaya’s shimmery, frosty mint eyes to Cardi B’s colorful mane, the makeup looks and hairstyles rendered were enough to kick off spring.

For the Challenger’s Movie press tour in Sydney, Zendaya was an iridescent vision in mint green. The actress showed up in an embellished, flirty mint green number that defined her frame. To keep the conversation going, she opted for a corresponding face beat that stayed true to the overall theme of her ensemble. Created by celebrity makeup artist, Ernesto Casillas, it featured frosty mint eyes with a healthy side of sparkle, soft blush, and nude lips. Plus, her bronze skin added more depth to the offering. 

Chloe Bailey also got the memo that last week was all about the shine, and she responded with stacks of bling. For a live performance, the singer opted for a black jumpsuit enlivened with diamonds as accessories. From her rings to her bracelets and earrings, the rocks were a not-so-subtle nod to her star status. To push things further, she crowned the get-up with an easy makeup look that was still chic enough for spring. Whether it was her smokey silver eyeshadow, witchy lashes, or nude lipstick, Ms. Bailey delivered sass without apologies.

Hair

With spring in full swing, pastel hues are already being prepped to saturate the beauty space, and the celebrity championing this is none other than Cardi B. Last week, she took tints to new levels with an ombré lavender and platinum hairstyle held in a loose up-do that came off as effortlessly sexy with a bit of drama.
