The Supreme Mavin Dynasty popularly known as Mavin Records was founded by record producer and recording artist Don Jazzy on May 8, 2012, following the closure of Mo’ Hits Records, which he owned with D’banj. In the last eight years, Mavin Records have consistently churned out great hits that also made Barack and Michelle Obama fall in love with their artistes. Also, on the lineup for this weekend, are DRB Lasgidi who paves the way for alternative music in Nigeria and are now back with a brand new album.

Mavin Records act, Dr. Sid is back and better and ready to Groove with his signature sound and style with the 5-tracks The Interesting EP. In Groove, Dr. Sid reminds partygoers to get up and dance rather than sit around.
2. DRB Lasgidi ft BOJ, Teezee, and Fresh L – Softly
‘Softly’, a term which means gentleness or calmness in Nigeria, is the first song off Alté music pioneers, DRB Lasgidi’s comeback album titled ‘Pioneer’. Softly is a mix of the original sounds of afrobeat fused with the new wave Alté sound. Produced by Pheelz, the music group consisting of BOJ, Teezee and Fresh L told an African love story while delivering something modern.

3. Harrysong – Audio Donation
Alterplate Record boss, Harrysong, presents his first official single titled Audio Donation. The single addresses the different donations that have been flying around from various organizations and personnel in Nigeria.
Harrysong is concerned about the funds the Federal Government received from parastatals, philanthropists, and organizations, how the citizens are yet to see the impact of the donations and likely embezzlement.
4. Vector x Masterkraft – If We Must (Sun x Rain)
Vector teamed up with award-winning producer, Masterkraft for the release of this thoughtful track titled If We Must (Sun x Rain) off their forthcoming EP Crossroad. In this track, Vector brought lyrics, wordplay, and rap as it has never been heard before.
5. Tony Tetuila x Duncan Mighty – Shepe
Tony Tetuila makes his return to the music scene as he features Port Harcourt’s first son, Duncan Mighty in Shepe. After a long break off the music scene, this lovely dance track is a worthy way to return as he dedicates the track to all those who backbite and work towards an individual’s downfall.
