On Tuesday, January 9, French luxury fashion house Saint Laurent dropped its new campaign for its Spring ’24 line, and it features singing legend Diana Ross. The collection was designed by the brand’s fashion director, Anthony Vaccarello, who blessed us with last year’s fall collection featuring Zoë Kravitz. Two years before that, he was at the helm of the brand’s fall/winter line that starred “The Book Of Clarence” actor LaKeith Stanfield.

In the ad that spotlights the “I’m Coming Out” hitmaker, she is donning her signature curls, a smokey eye, and a black halter neck dress serving major shoulder action.

2. Tiwa Savage accuses Davido of physical threats, calls police to intervene

Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has written to the Lagos State Police Command, accusing Davido of threatening her life. In a document dated January 9, 2024, shared first on X, Savage stated that Davido threatened to “f**k me up” over her affiliations with his first child’s mother, Sophia Momodu. She claimed that after she posted a picture of her and Momodu on Instagram, Davido messaged her and lashed out at her.

This comes after it was noticed by fans that the two Afrobeats artists unfollowed each other on Instagram. After that, her ex-husband, Teebillz, called Davido out on social media numerous times on claims that he disrespected his family. Teebillz stressed that he was done trying to settle their matters behind closed doors and would “teach him a lesson.”

5. Tiger Woods ends his long partnership with Nike

After 27 years of being one of the company’s premier ambassadors, Tiger Woods has ended his partnership with Nike. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Woods shared an official announcement, ending months of speculation about his future with the brand. “Over 27 years ago, I was fortunate to start a partnership with one of the most iconic brands in the world. The days have since been filled with so many amazing moments and memories, if I started naming them, I could go on forever,” Woods wrote.

He also thanked Phil Knight, co-founder of Nike, who was instrumental in bringing Woods into the brand. On its Instagram page, Nike expressed their gratitude for one of the most iconic brand partnerships in professional sports history with a caption that read, “It was a hell of a round Tiger.” The partnership comes to an end 10 years after Woods signed his final deal with Nike Golf for $200 million. Woods and Nike launched their partnership in 1996 when he signed a five-year, $40 million deal as a 20-year-old golf phenom.
