Popular singer, Cynthia Morgan, also known as Madrina, has signed a new management deal with a US-based entertainment management company, The Facilitator Firm. In a statement made available to the media, Cynthia Morgan said she is excited to join her new management company while stating reasons for making the deal.
The reggae star said, “I made the decision to sign the deal with the global market in mind. The Facilitator Firm definitely understands the global market. My new public relations team headed by Muyi did data mining research and he presented it to me. This made me realize how much fans I have beyond the shores of Nigeria including places I have never been to. I am rest assured that The Facilitator Firm can help bring that to a larger scale. Doing it independently, you don’t really have those teams to help worldwide. The Facilitator Firm has worked with a lot of artistes on the global stage, that’s why I wanted to partner with them.”

Kim Kardashian West celebrated her 40th birthday last week with an exclusive trip to a private island with her closest inner circle. On Thursday, Kim Kardashian West shared a gift from husband Kanye West — a hologram of her late father, attorney Robert Kardashian. “For my birthday, Kanye got me the most thoughtful gift of a lifetime,” Kardashian West said in a tweet. “A special surprise from heaven. A hologram of my dad. It is so lifelike! We watched it over and over, filled with emotion.”
Kim Kardashian’s father, Robert Kardashian died of cancer in 2003. He was 59. In the hologram shared by Kardashian West, the hologram delivers a birthday message. He praises his daughter for her motherhood, businesses, attending law school, and for supporting her Armenian heritage.
3. South Africa: Mampintsha proposes to Babes Wodumo live on air
Controversial couple Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha got engaged on Thursday. Making an appearance on South Africa’s Gagasi FM, Mampintsha decided it was time to pop the question live on air and went on one knee. In several videos on Instagram, the West Ink founder is mostly inaudible in the video. However, he is heard saying that this has been a long time coming.
The “Wololo” star also shared the video on her Instagram account and captioned the post: “Within a blink of an eye and now I’m left speechless, the journey wasn’t easy but we stuck together through thick and thin. Ngiyabonga Mashimane.”
Wodumo and Mampintsha’s engagement comes a year after the former pressed––and subsequently dropped––assault charges against the latter, who allegedly physically assaulted her during an Instagram Live video.
4. Ghana: Ministry of Health opens recruitment portal for 22,063 health professionals
The Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced that it has received financial clearance to recruit 22,063 various health professionals into the public health service delivery agencies. The Ministry has therefore opened the online recruitment portal for pharmacy and pharmacy doctors, allied health professionals, and professional nurses with a degree, diploma, and certificates who completed in 2018.
The opening date and deadline for the portal have been given for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Doctors from November 2 to November 6, 2020.
5. Liverpool: Virgil van Dijk knee surgery ‘successful’
Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has had a “successful” operation on his knee ligament injury, the club says. The 29-year-old has not played since damaging anterior cruciate ligaments (ACL) in a challenge with Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford in the 2-2 Premier League draw on 17 October.
Liverpool said “no timeframe has been placed” on Van Dijk’s return. “This time [after an operation] is always unpleasant. He is good as good can be,” said manager Jurgen Klopp. “The surgery was successful, which is really good, the best news we could get.”
