Ciara and Russell Wilson announced their latest pregnancy back in January 2020 and since then fans have been speculating on whether the couple will be having a boy or a girl. The singer and Seattle seahawk quarterback have a daughter, Sienna, together while they co-parent their son Future Zahir with Ciara’s ex, Future.
We’ve been following Ciara’s pregnancy journey and watched her baby bump grow as she’s shared updates along the way including how the pandemic has affected this particular pregnancy. She revealed that she had to go to her recent pre-natal appointment alone because of the extra precautions many hospitals have implemented in the face of COVID-19.
“Ultrasound visits during this era of COVID-19 is a bummer because my hubby can’t come in with me to my visit. Truly a challenging time for expectant mothers,” she wrote.
Today, Tuesday, April 14, Ciara and Russell Wilson took to Instagram to reveal the gender of their new baby in a lovely video that included their two kids.
“What do you want it to be?” Ciara asks as the whole family stands outside for the reveal. “You know what I want it to be,” Wilson laughs in response. “What do you want it to be is the question?” He adds. “Whatever God has for us,” she smiles.
After that, they both released their shots as blue smoke and sparkles filled the air, revealing that they will be having a baby boy. Immediately they burst with excitement, with Ciara running around the field chanting, “It’s a boy! it’s a boy!”
