At the mention of feminism in Nigeria, multiple award-winning novelist, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie comes to the minds of many, so it’s no surprise that the iconic writer is making waves across the globe as well. For their July/August 2018 global edition, the French magazine, M, Le magazine du Monde fronts Chimamanda as its cover star.
Inside the issue captioned “Une Femme Puissante – Powerful Woman,” Chimamanda delves into feminism, Beyoncé featuring her “We should All be Feminists” speech, fashion and more interesting topics.
The cover images which were photographed by Thurstan Redding saw Chimamanda Adichie channelling her inner fashionista as she dressed up in luxury designer wears like Chanel and James Perse and rocking a Prada waist bag. She relied on Dior for her accessories.
