It’s always fun to see the streets full of bold statements and risks, but sometimes, the best fashion moments are the ones that take a much quieter approach with elements of the season added for good measure. That was certainly the case this past week as celebs embraced outfits that were dapper and relaxed with notable leanings of spring. There was a clear emphasis on great cuts, prominent colors, and texture.
The Looks
Some A-listers chose looks that screamed spring—literally. During the week, NBA pro player James Harden chose a mono-brand look — a head-to-toe Louis Vuitton take. Harden wore a floral thistle-embroidered wavy jacket with matching floral thistle-embroidered wavy pants. He completed the look with a pair of Louis Vuitton LV trainer maxi sneakers and diamond-encrusted bling. The floral design was streamlined just enough to let the entire look take the spotlight.
Over in Las Vegas, wide receiver Justin Jefferson stunned in a Givenchy BSTORY denim jacket covered in patches and a Who Decides War ultra flare scripture jeans. For footwear, he opted for black Givenchy monumental mallow shoes. Jefferson further accessorized with Cuban-link necklaces and mirror biker sunglasses. It was an upbeat take on one of spring 2023’s trends—the double denim.
For Day 3 of the Baku City Circuit, Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton brought the sunshine to the racetracks wearing a yellow Zegna short-sleeve cardigan which he matched with yellow Zegna wide-leg pants. Then, he went with a pair of platform Marsell shoes which elevated his look rightly. Staying true to his style, Hamilton accessorized simply with a watch, a necklace and bracelet made of beads, and Chrome Hearts sunglasses.
On the other end of the spectrum, other celebrities went for more discreet, dark-toned ensembles. For Game 3, between the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies, LeBron James walked the tunnel in a black and red Missoni cardigan worn over black Cactus Plant Flea Market pants.
