As life begins to return to a normal state, celebrities and style stars across Africa––who also happen to be some of the best style influencers on Instagram––are finding reasons to dress up, step out and make a fashion statement. You can think of it as catching up on lost time. Stylish Looks On Celebrities On Instagram.
African celebrities and top fashion influencers are consistently using their style on Instagram to prove that a global pandemic doesn’t equal an end to doing the things we love––especially if it keeps us going. Stylish Looks On Celebrities On Instagram.
Even as we continuously preach the gospel of safety and ask that you observe social distancing rules, we also want to re-emphasize the fact that a fashionable outfit should not only make you look good on the outside but also make you feel confident from the inside out. That confidence is exactly what we can feel from the women on this list.
Last week, some of the most stylish African celebrities, influencers, and style stars stepped out in a range of amplified looks which they, of course, shared on Instagram.
December across the world is a festive month all around, and in Africa, it’s particularly a time for major parties and reunions––but the ongoing pandemic has meant fewer than usual events. Last week, with Christmas in view, celebrities and influencers had more reasons to keep their “sleigh” game alive––as they continue to keep fans and followers engaged with couture looks and statement pieces from the latest designer collections.
Predictably, merry colors and festive fabrics in the form of sequins and other sparkly fabrics came out to play. In Nigeria, the queen of extra, fashion designer, celebrity stylist, beauty connoisseur, and all-around entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani gave us all the extra we didn’t know we needed this season, in the form of a voluminous red paper dress. The dress, which she revealed took two weeks to create was styled with a pair of white gloves, silver bracelet, ring, and earrings, and finished off with a befitting tiara. To finish off the entire ensemble, the multi-potentialite sported a smokey eye look and a complementing red lipstick.
Across the continent, celebrities and influencers took to Instagram to prove that a merry season calls for glamour as they are not letting the pandemic hold them back this festive season.
The looks shared via Instagram posts by African celebrities and fashion influencers were nothing short of chic, edgy, and glamorous and it’s safe to say that we are, as usual, living vicariously through them.
Check out how African celebs and style stars slayed this past week of December 2020…
