It was a celebrity-packed get together as most of Toke Makinwa’s celeb friends showed up at her poolside birthday dinner. In celebration of her 34th birthday which happened on November 3rd, the OAP had previously shared images from her birthday shoot where she showed off her hot new bod, however, she pushed her party by a few days because she was a bridesmaid on her birthday – Gbemi Olateru’s wedding.
For Toke Makinwa, Chapter 34 marks a big turn in her life and to celebrate this new age, she threw a dinner party that was held at The Grill By Delis, a fine dining steakhouse in Lagos. The event was put together by Partyfully-Yours. Set by the poolside, the decor was filled with lots of flowers and golden shimmers. Toke arrived at the event in a red satin dress by from her fave clothing line, Self-Portrait. The dress which featured a flattering plunging neckline, fluid sleeves that are tucked for volume and an exaggerated handkerchief hemline was paired with a Bottega Veneta grey metallic knot purse and a pair of golden silk René Caovilla Selina cage sandals. Her blonde bob weave was definitely a statement.
Celebrities and friends in attendance included 2Face and Annie Idibia, Bovi, Bonang Matheba, Olakunbi Oyelese, Tunde Demuren, Banky W, Tania Omotayo, Adebola Williams, Ebuka Uchendu, Omawunmi, Gbemi Olateru, Nowe Alexis Isibor, Bolanle Olukanni, Taje Prest, Toni Tones, Idia Aisen, Swanky Jerry, Mimi Onalaja, Lilian Esoro amongst others.
Later, during the course of the momentous celebration, the style star and certified Style Raven showed off in a green bodycon dress. As she partied with her close friends, Toke once again proved that at 34, it should be all about #livingyourbestlife.
