He said that he made the decision in honor of his mother, who passed away on August 18. “₦100M for the kids for Christmas! God bless us all, starts in Surulere tonight. All in Morayo’s name, the love of my life,” his post read.

The singer and his family laid his mother Juliana Morayo Balogun to rest on August 18, then celebrated her well-lived life in an extravagant affair afterward. Wizkid choosing to kickstart his charity in Surulere is a full-circle moment because he lived in that local government area during his formative years in Lagos State. Now, he has decided to give back to society at such a vital time of the year.

Kid Cudi celebrated a significant achievement when he was awarded an honorary master’s degree in fashion design from Istituto Marangoni Miami. The rapper and fashion icon shared the moment on Instagram, expressing his joy and gratitude. Cudi, who didn’t follow the traditional academic path, highlighted the significance of the achievement for both himself and his mother. 5. Swedish icon Ibrahimovic rejoins AC Milan for a third stint

Swedish legend, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is all set to make a comeback to AC Milan for a third stint. The former Sweden international striker, who announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 41 in June this year, is set to come back to the Italian club for a third stint, but this time not as a footballer. Ibrahimovic will work closely with the club’s principal owners, RedBird Capital Partners. Reports say that the former Manchester United star will join the club as an advisor to AC Milan’s management and ownership.

Ibrahimovic said, “RedBird has partnered with some of the greatest athletes, teams, and business figures in the world to create businesses with meaning and impact. I look forward to contributing to their investing activities across their sports, media, and entertainment properties.” RedBird bought a 99 percent stake in Milan in 2021 for €1.2bn and has changed the fortunes of the club after their struggles in the last decade. The Serie A giants won the Scudetto in the 2021/22 season and reached the semi-final of the Champions League last season. They also have stakes in Liverpool owners’ Fenway Sports Group.
