Dior Beauty is tapping into its Gen-Z bag with the appointment of “Stranger Things” star Caleb McLaughlin as its U.S. brand ambassador. McLaughlin is the latest rollout of ambassadors on the stateside for the “La Collection Privée” fragrance lineup. The star will work in tandem with the brand to celebrate the brand’s heritage in the Dior Beauty fragrance category.
In a statement from Dior, the brand spoke to McLaughlin’s rising music career in reference to his two original singles and also his philanthropic endeavors. In addition to the newest appointment, the brand has revamped its ‘Gris Dior” hero collection with six new ambassadors, including names such as Jenna Ortega and Thuso Mbedu.
2. Falz calls for prayers as he undergoes surgery in London

Popular Nigerian rapper and activist Folarin Falana, better known as Falz the Bahd Guy, has requested prayers as he prepares for surgery. Falz shared a video narrating that he sustained a knee injury while playing football in November 2022 and was advised to undergo surgery to fix the complete tear in his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). He added that the surgery was conducted on May 2, in London. “Current situation. It’s a whole journey to being 100% back. Say a prayer for me,” he wrote in the caption. In response to his post, a lot of his fans and followers have wished him well and a quick recovery.

International superstar Beyonce Knowles-Carter kicked off her latest stadium world tour in support of her critically acclaimed studio album Renaissance on Wednesday, 10 May in Stockholm. The tour has been one of the most anticipated social events of the year.
A big surprise came when Beyonce co-signed Uncle Waffles. This is as, during one of the transitions during the concert, Uncle Waffles’ “Tanzania’s” instrumental was sampled. As soon as Uncle Waffles was made aware, she took to Twitter to celebrate with the rest of the country. One look sees Ice with flowing red tresses, serving up what some consider Scooby-Doo realness in a purple mini. As supporters praised her looks, it’s worth noting that Ice applauded other female musicians who came before her during the exclusive interview. In addition, she credited her father for teaching her about rap early on and admitted he’s the reason she loves the “Barbie Dreams” emcee.

Cristiano Ronaldo was gifted a diamond-encrusted green watch worth £92,000 at the launch of his new range of timepieces. To mark the opening of Jacob & Co’s new store in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the company held a launch event that was attended by Ronaldo – now plying his football trade in the country for Al-Nassr. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker showed off one of the brand’s luxury watches. According to reports, the green watch Ronaldo was pictured wearing features 26 white diamonds and is worth £92,000. It also depicts his trademark “Siu” celebration on the back.
The timepiece is named the ‘Heart of CR7 Baguette’ and is one of four watches in his collection – with the most expensive worth £119,00 ($145,000). This is the latest in a series of endorsements Ronaldo had done throughout his glittering career. The Portuguese forward is estimated to have the biggest earnings in world football, with his contract at Al Nassr reportedly worth in excess of $200m per year.
