Burna Boy Sings About His Journey On ‘Kilometre’ + More Trending African Songs

The month of April has just ended with a bang as some of our favorite artists across Africa closed the month out with smooth, groove-filled jams. Among the latest drops, Grammy award winner, Burna Boy has blessed fans with a new single since his major win titled Kilometre.

Jonzing World artiste, Rema teamed up with American singer Justine Skye to deliver a song you could easily have sensual fantasies to. We can definitely say April ended on a good note with the latest African songs to hit the international airspace in 2021.

#1. Burna Boy – Kilometre by Burner Boy

Burna Boy has released his first solo single of 2021, Kilometre. Produced by Chopstix, the track boasts a drum-filled sound. Kilometre finds Burna Boy reflecting on how far he’s come during his career and brushing aside all doubters.

#2. Justine Skye, Rema – Twisted fantasy

American singer Justine Skye recently linked up with Rema in the US and they recorded a song Twisted Fantasy together. A beautiful song of love fantasies that are seemingly twisted yet satisfying. The two artistes complement each other on the track.

#3. Adekunle Gold – It is what it is / Burner Boy

Produced by Kali and Blaise Beatz, It is what it is is another impressive music experimentation from Adekunle Gold. He combines Urban highlife and Afrobeat with the Dancehall genre. This song comes on the heels of his 2020-released album Afro pop vol. 1.

#4. Cassper Nyovest, Lady Du – Angisho guys

As promised, Cassper Nyovest returns with another Amapiano banger titled Angisho Guys, featuring collaborations from Lady Du. This is a follow up to his previously released single Ama Number Ayi ’10. This is Cassper’s first foray into the trendy South African sound.

#5. Blaqbonez, Joeboy – Fendi

Rapper Blaqbonez offers this new sound Fendi featuring Joeboy from his just released album Sex Over Love. The 14-track album is huge milestone for the rapper and a major effort to reinforce his artistry and credibility in the music industry of Nigeria and beyond.
