The Global Gift Nelson Mandela Centenary Dinner which is aimed at celebrating the centenary year of Nelson Mandela’s birth, as well as his spirit of being a humanitarian and a philanthropist, took place on April 24th at the Rosewood Hotel in London, with SA superstar Bonang Matheba as the event MC.
The Nelson Mandela Foundation chose Global Gift to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Nelson Mandela which happened to be the first initiative of the Global Gift and Nelson Mandela foundations together. The Global Gift is known as one of London’s most extravagant charity dinners. The event chaired by Maria Bravo featured an appearance by actress and co-chair Vanessa Williams and actress Pamela Anderson among others. English singer Beverley Knight mesmerised the guests with her amazing performance.
The guests all looked dazzling as they opted for muted tones with their looks. Bonang Matheba slayed in a black and yellow floor length dress from one of our favourite Nigerian designers – DNA by Iconic Invanity. She paired the dress with a turban from Turban Tempest as she finished off with minimal jewellery and barely-there glam.
