In the editorial for Harper’s Bazaar, Nicki Minaj poses in a blonde hairdo and is decked in a series of very über-chic pieces that clearly do not steer away from what we are used to from the hip hop superstar. The only difference this time is that there is a certain freshness and tone that we’ve not seen in a bit.
In the interview, Nicki Minaj revealed that she had to work a lot on herself to build her confidence seeing as she grew up with an abusive father. According to Nicki, “I have succeeded in a business where men unconditionally dominate. And in order for me to be recognized as worthy of attention, MC had to do more than all my fellow rappers combined. But I do not sit and cry about it, I go ahead.”
