verything about the holidays slaps differently. The meals are cooked intentionally, the curls entwine with the face beat to execute the slay mission, and the outfits are equally tailored with precision. The whole pack is happier in ensembles that project confidence. Last week, while actively participating in the festive jamborees, we also stayed on the lookout for Black stylish celebrities to spice up our timelines with their mega-fashion holiday highlights.
The matching PJs under the Christmas tree stood out as the ultimate classic, but when it was time to head out, the switch-up was real. Sparkle, wild cuts, colorful furs, and other details peppered the outstanding ensembles the girls stepped out in to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.
The Looks
Zendaya has been under the social radar for a minute, but trust the holidays to smoke out a few from their cocoons. While promoting Euphoria, the star girl kept it classy in a gingham print midi skirt by Schiaparelli and a dark-hued polo shirt completed with pumps. A simple but audible way to demonstrate sophistication in simplicity.
Meanwhile, Monica Denise chose a maximalist approach to style last week, and of course, the season approves. For a performance, the star layered a flamboyant Jennifer Le coat over a black turtleneck catsuit and finished off with boots that matched the colorful coat. The rapper must be on a no-fail diet because she eats every look.
At the Babylon movie premiere in Los Angeles, actress Geffri Maya turned up festive glam to the highest notch in an embellished Jean Louis Sabaji ensemble. The look featured feathery sleeves and a silver bling head accessory that accentuated the already unique look.
