Former Miss United States, Andromeda Peters wore her braids atop her head like a crown. So why not start last week’s best beauty roundoff with this black queen? She also had cowry beads braided into her hair and weaved around her ears, giving the perfect picture of ancient African royalty.
With South African actress, Nomzamo Mbatha, her joy was infectious and we couldn’t help but smile along. Her beaded single braids fell just a few inches past her shoulder and we’re sure the sound of those beads hitting each other would be as delightful as they look.
Makeup
With Halloween just past, we saw a number of perfect cosplay looks on celebrities over the weekend but earlier in the week, Megan thee Stallion served her face beaten flawlessly with Revlon makeup. We can’t get over how every feature is highlighted to perfection, from her perfectly plump lips to her smokey eyes.
It seems simple makeup is winning for these black queens and little wonder why. In the middle of this pandemic, a little skin work and simple glossy lips seem to work perfectly. For models, Munira’s fluffy brows added the finishing touch to an otherwise simple and flawless look. While for model, Jess, the sharp winged eyeliner was enough to elevate her entire face.
