1. Beyoncé teases new haircare line
In the midst of her Renaissance Tour, Beyoncé teased the arrival of what appears to be a new haircare line. “How many of y’all knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?” asked the mother of three, 41, in a note on Instagram. “Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”
The photo sees Bey tending to her healthy, natural curls in a mirror and a series of unlabeled products appear on her vanity including an oil and cream that already has interested many speculating online.

On the night of May 16, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, were involved in a “near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi,” according to a spokesperson for the family. The pair, along with Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, were traveling to a friend’s private residence when the incident took place. “Last night, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Ms. Ragland were involved in a near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi. This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians, and two NYPD officers,” a statement claimed.
Prince Harry and Markle’s spokesperson added, “While being a public figure comes with a level of interest from the public, it should never come at the cost of anyone’s safety.” It continued, “Dissemination of these images, given the ways in which they were obtained, encourages a highly intrusive practice that is dangerous to all involved.” Before the New York car chase, Prince Harry and Ms. Ragland were supporting Markle as she was honored earlier that evening at the Ms. Foundation 2023 Women of Vision Awards in Manhattan.

Brentford and England striker Ivan Toney has been hit with an immediate eight-month ban from all footballing activity and fined £50,000 following an investigation into more than 230 alleged betting rule breaches. He indicated he would accept his punishment without a fight. The independent panel’s ruling means the 27-year-old is unable to represent his club or country until January 16, 2024, while he cannot return to team training until September of this year.
Toney was charged with 232 breaches of FA betting rules in November 2022, before being hit with a further 30 charges the following month. Toney has been one of the best strikers in the Premier League this season, scoring 20 goals for the Bees. The specifics of his alleged betting offenses have not been made public, and while he said he would give a longer statement when those are revealed, he suggested he would accept his suspension and fine.
