Inarguably, one of these is the irresistible glam-up Black women are fond of undertaking at this time which often leaves one in a state of awe. Last week, the glam game continued as celebs brought the heat in the makeup and hair category in spite of the dropping temps. And for sure they delivered once again!

Last week, Janet Jackson shook Instagram with a face beat created by celebrity makeup artist, Preston. The look played with soft, feminine tones that flaunted a truly delicate side of Ms. Jackson. Thanks to her well-defined contour that displayed her strong jawline, soft eyeshadow that drew you to her eyes, and peachy-nude lips that added the feminine touch. Every element certainly played its part!

At the premiere of the Babylon movie last week, music sensation Kelly Rowland graced the red carpet in a mesmerizing red number by Iris van Herpen. But it was her subtle face beat that earned her a spot on this list for sure. The look wittingly blended with her chocolate-y skin giving off a seamless and effortless beat. 

Hair

If there’s one thing that the best makeup and hairstyles had in common, it was the insatiable drive for individuality. For instance, while Janet Jackson and Kelly Rowland both went for toned-down makeup, each look matched the unique personality of the women. In the hair department, Chloe Bailey came through in Ulta-max blonde braids that mirrored her authentic vibe in more ways than one.
