Last week, high fashion was in vogue. With elevated suit games and other-worldly print expressions, the fashion atmosphere was charged up as the world took notes. The Vogue World 2024 event was held at the famed Place Vendôme in Paris, and celebrities didn’t pass up on the opportunity to render trés chic ensembles with vigor. From Anitta to Flora Coquerel, style stars advocated for fashion with pump and flair.
The Looks
At the opening party for the “Naomi: In Fashion” exhibition, model Jodie Turner-Smith slayed in a blush suit from Boss, elevated with a quirky Afro hairstyle and sleek eyewear. At this point, we can all agree that the star girl understands how to punch up any outfit coordination. From the loose-fitting suit to the black pumps and voluminous hairstyle, every detail danced in cohesion to an outstanding effect.
Elsewhere, reality star Porsha Williams decided to announce that sexy is on the table in a red crystal-embellished Theophilio dress. The hooded midi number boasted a silhouette that tightened its grip, and the textures and hues made bold statements.
Twenty-eight-year-old Ayo Edebiri has been on a slaying streak and has no plans of breaking it. From a Bottega Veneta artsy dress to a layering wonder with Dries Van Noten, the actress knows how to align fashion with her playful personality. Perhaps, our favorite from last week was her Dries Van Noten fit, that saw an embellished vest worn over a long-sleeved shirt, styled with a print midi skirt. For a trendy finish, she introduced rolled-up socks and strappy sandal heels—an apt representation of her quirky personality.
