ast week was an assembly of couture’s finest showing off prestigious collections on the runways. As expected, the front rows featured celebrities and style stars stealing the show in impeccable fits. The 2024 Paris Fashion Week certainly lived up to its reputation with unique flamboyance taking center stage. Amid PFW 2024, movie premieres and award shows happened simultaneously to sprinkle variety and provide extra reasons for celebrities to be outside.
The Looks
It should have been called Zendaya’s couture week as the star girl knows how to make an entrance. One minute she retreats to her cocoon, and next, she’s out in the scenes snapping necks and bursting our timelines with internet-breaking ensembles. At the Fendi couture SS24 show in Paris, the actress was spotted in a snatched number that played up her frame. The burgundy number with a little train sat nicely on her as her baby bangs and Bulgari jewelry brought in more oomph.
Tika Sumpter in minis this season has been a sight for sore eyes. Showing off her toned legs, the actress wore an all-over butterfly outfit by Jean-Louis Sabaji to The Underdoggs Movie premiere. The look featured a form-fitting mini dress and matching blazer elevated by classic black pumps. Add to that her short blunt bob hairstyle and red lipstick and you see why we couldn’t resist this look. Indeed, it’s a put-together assemblage of composure and fashion.
All through PFW 2024, Jordyn Woods’ mission was to step on necks and snap. On a serial slay assignment, Woods rendered it all from elevated denim casuals to boss chic blazer dresses and statement frocks in the City of Lights. At the Zuhair Murad show, she stunned in a black maxi blazer dress with silver embellishments on the hips and sleeve hems, complementing her dazzling earrings and purse — a whole lewk.
