Best Dressed List: Last Week, Nonconformance Was The Name Of The Game

Although most events are on hold, male celebrities and style influencers across Africa have somehow found ways to give us their suave and dapper looks amid the global pandemic. From Tanzania to Nigerian some of the most stylish celebrities in the continent capture our attention with their stunning fashion choices last week.

Over in the East, Tanzanian actor and comedian Idris Sultan looked very rakish in his tan suit, worn over a finely-collared shirt. From tie to shoes, his choice of accessories were just as sleek. Serving a very English meets African vibe, he capped his look with an animal print-inspired traditional hat.

Internationally acclaimed disk jockey DJ Neptune looked simply dapper in his sleek fancy jacket look. The official Big Brother Naija Disk Jockey matched a black t-shirt with a pair of black trousers and then layered the ensemble with a shiny blue lapel-less jacket. For footwear, he went with a pair of tasseled black suede loafers, and further accessorized with a set of gold necklaces.

While this year has been relatively short of fashion––especially men’s fashion, things are slowly turning around. Last week was again prove of this.
