Like fine wine, Black women continually get better with their looks. Certainly, every week that passes see our favorite black celebrities showcase creative beauty looks that have us drooling. Makeup
There was no mistaking the clean beats that took over Instagram and one thing which stood out were the eyes. Even when the glam was nude, Black women understood that the eyes are the windows to the soul and they adorned these windows impeccably!
YouTuber and Blogger, Jennie Jenkins decided to not only sweep us away with her lashes but also to have us fall in love with her smokey eyes. And fall in love we did! She further accentuated her look by adding a pop of shine in gold to the inner corner of her eyes. Congolese-French model Didi-Stone Olomide chose to let her eyes match her outfit as she opted for a light green eyeshadow to create a slightly smokey-eyed effect.
Hair
In between the flowing tresses we saw, scarves also had a moment. Firstly is Miss South Africa 2020, Shudufhadzo Musiḓa as she made us fall in love with the motherland all over again. She sported a burnt orange and green Ankara printed scarf which created a contrasting, yet beautiful effect with her voluminous-sleeved Ankara print dress. Next up is Nigerian Afropop singer Yemi Alade who also did the Ankara scarf trend well as she wrapped her updo in a multi-colored Ankara scarf that matched her spaghetti strap dress.
