Former housemate of Nigeria’s most popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, Angel has gotten for herself a Range Rover. The reality TV star took to her Instagram page on Sunday, November 7, to share photos of her new SUV. “I paid rent and then I bought a car, grateful for 2021. It’s given me so much. Real hot girl sh*t??♀??♀,” she captioned the photos.
Angel was one of the housemates from the sixth season of the reality TV show. She was one of the last six housemates standing during the finale.

Rapper Travis Scott on Saturday said he is “absolutely devastated by what took place” Friday night, when at least eight people died at the Astroworld music festival in Houston. Officials said “scores of individuals” were also injured after a crowd surge at the festival, which Scott founded three years ago.
Houston Mayor, Sylvester Turner said a 14-year-old, a 16-year-old, two 21-year-old, two 23-year-olds, a 27-year-old and one person of unknown age died. Twenty-five people were transported to the hospital and 13 remain hospitalized, including five people under the age of 18, Sylvester said Saturday afternoon.
The “mass casualty incident” occurred after 9 p.m. when a crowd began to “compress” toward the front of the stage, “and that caused some panic, and it started causing some injuries,” Houston Fire Chief Samuel Peña said early Saturday at a press conference.

2021 has certainly been a life-changing year for media personality K Naomi who is set to walk down the aisle after her partner proposed to her and is also about to become a first-time mom. Naomi made her pregnancy announcement on Sunday, November 7, with the cutest video posted on her Instagram.
The TV presenter, who recently became a fiancée, expressed her joy and gratitude at the new chapter that awaits her as she showed off her growing baby bump in the video.

Kenya’s Peres Jepchirchir won the women’s race at the New York City marathon as compatriot Albert Korir claimed the men’s title. Olympic champion Jepchirchir sprinted for the finish line to beat Kenya’s Viola Cheptoo, who was second, and third-placed Ethiopian Ababel Yeshaneh. The 28-year-old won in two hours, 22 minutes, and 39 seconds.
Jepchirchir is the first athlete to win Olympic gold and the race in New York in the same year. Korir had a winning time of 2:08:22, with runner-up Mohamed El Aaraby of Morocco finishing 44 seconds behind him and Italian Eyob Faniel claiming third.

Welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman retained his title with a unanimous decision win against Colby Covington in their rematch at UFC 268 in New York. Usman, 34, dropped the challenger twice in quick succession at the end of the second round with a big left hook and then a huge right hand.
Covington, 33, rallied in rounds three and four and the pair traded heavy shots in the fifth without either being able to land a fight-ending blow. The judges scored it 48-47 48-47 49-46.
