1. ASAP Rocky face of Gucci Guilty Campaign

Last week, it was announced that rapper ASAP Rocky, Oscar-nominated actor Elliot Page, and Emmy Award-winning actress Julia Garner would front the new Gucci Guilty fragrance campaign. According to reports, we owe the peppery mandarin scent of this best-selling product to Aurélien Guichard. The perfumer has also worked with Versace and Narciso Rodriguez, per reports.
The campaign, which is set to launch on March 1, was shot by photographer Glen Luchford and Rocky can be seen wearing a giant lilac flower brooch on a blouse that favors Prince’s “Purple Rain” era. Additionally, Page is styled in a blue Hawaiian shirt and Garner in what appears to be a mint green faux fur jacket.
2. American rapper Soulja Boy threatens to harm Wizkid

On February 25, Soulja Boy took to his Twitter account to express his intentions to hurt Wizkid after he was trolled by some of Wizkid’s fans. A Twitter user pointed out that Wizkid would be headlining the Rolling Loud concert in Germany, with Soulja Boy appearing as one of the supporting acts 10 years after calling the American rapper’s music wack. Soulja reacted by quoting the tweet and calling Wizkid a derogatory word before threatening to beat up Wizkid and any fan who dares to disrespect him.
The rapper then proceeded to threaten Wizkid in a separate tweet, in which he stated that he was done tweeting and that he intended to kill the Afrobeats megastar. In a moment of rage, Soulja Boy also requested that Rolling Loud take him off the show in Germany in what was an apparent reluctance to be in Wizkid’s shadow.
3. South Africa: Lorna Maseko meets former US president Bill Clinton

Celebrity chef, author, and media personality Lorna Maseko said she was honored to have met former US President Bill Clinton. On her Instagram timeline, she shared snaps of her time interacting with guests in New York City. “It was an absolute honor to be invited to @clintonglobal where I had the opportunity meet and speak with [former] president Clinton, among so many other leaders in our global community. I absolutely love the work they do. I am inspired by their commitment to action, changing our world for the better through concrete steps. 4. Offset honored with 2023 Georgia Legislative Black Caucus Award

On February 24, the 2023 annual Heritage Dinner for the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus (GLBC) was held at the Georgia International Convention Center, where Offset was honored with the 2023 GLBC award. Offset, 31, received the award on behalf of the Atlanta-Fulton Foundation Board of Directors, who recognize “the many contributions you make, not only to music but most importantly to our community,” the foundation wrote in an Instagram post dedicated to the honoree. “Continue to give of yourself for the betterment of the community.”
The heritage dinner was created in the fellowship of Georgia’s business leaders and community-forward individuals to attend in celebration of Black History Month and Black legacy. One of the honorable deeds the rapper does for his community is his annual toy giveaway in Gwinnett County, GA. During the most recent event, held on December 23, 2022, Offset received the key to the county from county officials.
5. Manchester United end trophy drought with Carabao Cup win

The Red Devils secured their first trophy in almost six years at Wembley as they earned a 2-0 win over Newcastle. On Sunday, United’s near six-year wait for silverware came to an end, with a Casemiro header and a Sven Botman own goal, giving them a 2-0 triumph over Newcastle at Wembley. The win capped off a potentially transformative week at the club, with a re-energized Old Trafford crowd roaring their team to victory over runaway La Liga leaders Barcelona in the Europa League.
