It would have been easier for us to simply upload images of the collections that showed at the Arise Fashion Week 2019, but you deserve more than that. So we’re still on task, reviewing our favourite collections as shown by emerging and eminent brands.
The venue was the Lagos Continental Hotel in Victoria Island as Colombian-American fashion designer, Esteban Cortazar took the runway on Day 3 of the shows, revealing an aesthetically pleasing, vibrant and sleek collection.
With an eponymous brand that is known for giving a gleaming impression, Esteban Cortazar’s 2019 Autumn/Winter collection was interesting, to say the least. The vision of showcasing contemporary designs for men and women through a subtle play on details and bold colours came alive as the pieces graced the runway.
Embracing flattering and free-flowing structures, a display of laid-back elegance was formulated on the runway. The energy of the collection came through with the use of electrifying, grainy and mellow hues. The use of unconventional accessories also created a sense of alternative style, as the models stunned in draped bodysuits, layered textures and two-piece outfits perfect for the modern-day fashion buff.
Esteban Cortazar’s versatile designs without a doubt brought an infusion of sleek and expressive fashion to the forefront of Arise Fashion Week.
