Having CLAN among the first round of shows to open at the Arise Fashion week Lagos set the tone for the entire fashion week. The best runway offerings can be a great shock to the system. In other words, having a lineup filled with captivating designs can largely affect the way other runway shows are conducted throughout the week/weekend and CLAN surely got fashion lovers excited.
Delivering a mix of heavily luminous influences and soft pieces, the whole CLAN collection got us re-acquainted with subtlety. When you take a look at the structure of each piece you’d find that the creation enjoys an exciting silhouette.
CLAN’s latest collection takes you through different ways of self-expression but you can’t miss that the pieces are void of predictably loud hues. The brand definitely takes delight in showing us something that references their fine cutting skills and overall craftsmanship. The zipper details on some of the pieces was an addition that proves that being different is always refreshing
Although not defined by any theme, in particular, the collection was as elegant as it was aesthetically pleasing. Metallic tricot lamé, velvet, chiffon and cotton were a few of the fabrics that brought the collection to life. The pieces in the lineup weren’t just attractive because of their textures and cuts, they were practical and had lady-like ease that made the fierce designs still relatable.
