It would have been easier for us to simply upload images of the collections that showed at the Arise Fashion Week 2019, but you deserve more than that. So we’re still on task, reviewing our favourite collections as shown by emerging and eminent brands.
Bridget Awosika’s ready to wear line at Arise Fashion week 2019 had a well-rounded influence that resounded from the streets of Lagos through top fashion cities across the world.
The collection’s fine tailoring and sculptural flow translated into a brilliant display on the runway. A change of silhouettes is what came through as the collection showed off a new level of sophistication from Bridget Awosika’s typical designs.
There was a majestic flow in some of the pieces as well as a dreamy romanticism offered by the colours and volumes of the designs. It is obvious that doing romanticism in a classic way was not what Bridget Awosika was after with this line as the designs were very much modish. And might we add feminine in an unorthodox way.
