Tapping into old creative campaigns is something a lot of different brands have been doing recently. You could say these established brands are feeling a bit of ‘now-stalgia’ and sportswear giant Adidas is now part of this movement. The Apparel brand is taking steps to revive their Adicolor collection which is one of the most iconic apparel franchise as well as Ad campaign they’ve ever done argue with your TV. This collection which was originally debuted sometime in the late 70’s has played a pivotal role in how millennials re-imagined the ‘sports wear’.
According to the brand,
“The Adidas SS18 collection features a quartet of primary colors (Bluebird, Fairway Green, Scarlett Red and Sun Yellow) in classic Adidas styles in updated fabrications and logos with a play on placement and proportion.”
This, of course, encompasses apparel as well as footwear. As part of its global counterparts, the brand – Adidas SA has partnered with key influencers in the region; actress Amanda du-Pont who was captured by fellow campaigner, creative director and photographer Trevor Stuurman.
