Ajebo Hustlers Get Us Groovy With ‘Caress’ + More New Trending Afrobeat Songs

This week, it seems the A-list artists have left the door open for underground artists and rising artists to get more recognition. The beauty of Afrobeats is that talent is spread across the musical hierarchy, and this is a proven statement with the music releases this week. Slowly rolling us into their next album with their new song titled Caress are Ajebo Hustlers, the rising music duo who have taken the Nigerian music scene by storm.

Also, Nigerian-Canadian Afro-RnB singer, Nonso Amadi served fans with a beautifully rendered love song titled Different accompanied by a creatively shot music video filled with beautiful Black women. What’s not to love? Here are five trending new songs to add to your playlist this weekend.

Nigerian music duo and Headies-nominated artists, Ajebo Hustlers come through with a brand new single titled Caress, a club-banger with the potential to take over summer. Caress is a dance-worthy tune grilled with a good vocal texture the duo is known for as well as an upbeat rhythm to blend. The Orlandoh-produced song is sexually explicit and filled with puns, something the crooners are known for.

#2. Brymo – Pim Pim

Singer, songwriter, and storyteller Brymo has released his tenth studio album titled Theta. Coming on the heels of his ninth album, Esan, the 10-track album follows the artist’s storytelling format which made people fall in love with his music from the start. On Theta is his new single titled Pim Pim which is a stand-out song with a message to fans: listen and follow your heart.

#3. Nonso Amadi ft. Majid Jordan – Different

Nigeria-born, Canada-based R&B artist Nonso Amadi has called on OVO Sound duo Majid Jordan on his new track Different. Blending R&B and Afrobeats, Different is about the feeling you get when you meet a girl you like in a room filled with other beautiful women—and how she stands out from the rest and makes you want to chase after her. This song serves as Amadi’s second song since his return from his long hiatus.

#4. Ajebo Hustlers ft. Fave – In Love

It’s a double release day for Port Harcourt-born duo, Ajebo Hustlers as they come through with a love-bound studio number titled In Love. The duo enlisted the sonorous vocals of emPawa Africa songbird and Baby Riddim crooner, Fave who added her own spice to the jam making it even more romantic. This double release just confirms the word on the street: their second album is coming sooner than expected.

#5. Medikal – Letter To My Ex

Looks like breakfast is being served even in the music industry. Medikal, a Ghanaian veteran rapper, has dropped a new single titled Letter To My Ex. Produced by Chensee Beatz, Letter to My Ex sees a brokenhearted Medikal sending a message to his ex, talking about his hurt feelings and how “Odo no y3 scam” which is Twi for “Love is a Scam.”
