Nollywood’s screen goddess and award winning producer Omoni Oboli recently decided to join the league of fashion designers in Nigeria as she launched her clothing line ‘Omoni Oboli by AVE’ in collaboration with designer Ayo Van Elmar yesterday at the Oriental hotel Ikoyi, Lagos.
In her words,
‘I am introducing to the world my inner passion and ideas and a new side of me. You all know me as an actress and movie maker, now you all get to see this whole new side of me. I am excited about this fashion line and excited to be working with Ayo Van Elmer. This fashion line is for my fans and fans of fashion’.
The collection features a rich display of colourful fabrics and vibrant prints.
In attendance at the launch were celebrities like Lala, Triple MG boss Ubi Franklin, prolific Nigerian producer Emem Isong, actress Yvonne Jegede, celebrity stylist Swanky Jerry, Ayo Van Elmar and a host of others.
