Every time he pops up on our IG feed, he does so with an irreplaceable finesse that we can’t help but grin ear-to-ear.

In January, Dr. Faminu launched us into the year in this creative look and he gave us a hint into what his 2021 held store, fashion-wise. True to his nature, he unapologetically rocked indigenous designers in this ensemble. His croc-inspired dark pumpkin and squash-colored shoes are from a Nigerian brand, Kiing Daviids, and his neatly tailored multi-patterned jacket is also from a Nigerian designer, Obed Clothiers. Akin effortlessly rocks the custom-made face suit from Nigerian designer, Michael Black Collection. The suit, which is both playful and stylish is complemented with a plain black turtle neck polo, and mixed leather black boots also from a Nigerian designer, 313eko Shoes. He completes the ensemble with a beaded bangle and white sunglasses from Nigeria’s CRUX. Ultimately, this look is every inch exceptional.

This May, the ever-stylish Faminu showed his softer side in a metallic pink suit from Nigerian designer, Chimmy and Co. One may not expect a man to wear pink, but our doctor wore the color so well I wished every man would embrace the color. But on second thought, not many men can pull off the femininity and daintiness of pink. Kudos to him!

Fashion-forward is an understatement in this look as Dr. Akin Faminu did justice to every piece of clothing that makes up this ensemble. From the nude coat to the wheat-coloured shoes, and everything else in between, this look sent me to fashion heaven and I have this gentleman to thank for it—well done Faminu, well done.
