The 2019 Billboards Music Awards which took place Wednesday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas had Kelly Clarkson return as its host. The event saw Mariah Carey take home this year’s Icon Award and Drake making history as he became the most-awarded artist in Billboard Music Awards history, nabbing 12 awards.
These wins bring Drake’s career Billboards awards total to a record crashing 27. Taylor Swift, who sat front row and opened the show, previously held the record of most BMAs at 23 awards.
