Ogugua Okonkwo, the founder of millennial luxury womenswear brand, Style Temple, delivered an enchanting runway show on April 21 at Arise Fashion Week 2019. The venue was the Lagos Continental Hotel in Victoria Island as fashion faithfuls from Nigeria, Africa and beyond gathered for the final day of the shows.
Paying homage to the female form with an avant-garde display of elegant and alluring tones, Style Temple’s 2019 Autumn/Winter collection was a design wonderland to be deeply explored.
As models made their way down the runway, the brand’s reputation for producing ultra-chic, contemporary yet futuristically feminine garments came alive. From delivering intricate pieces with rich ruffles, sheer and corset elements, to headpieces too interesting to ignore, Style Temple’s runway exhibit was nothing short of entertaining.
With neutral tones, tasty pops of colour, delicate textiles, well-structured design placements and crisp tailoring, the flowy gowns, blazer dresses, jumpsuits and even wedding dresses presented were all complimentary of the diverse personas of millennial women and all done in a very graceful light.
