The couple who have been nicknamed J-Rod from their Vanity Fair cover announced their engagement via Instagram.
Alex Rodriguez proposed while the two vacationed in the Bahamas and the engagement photo has all eyes on Jennifer Lopez’s ring.
In as much as no one knows the true value of the ring, jewellers have estimated the ring to be around a 10-20 carat diamond stone – if the stone is D-flawless (a very rare, colourless gem). This means the ring could cost anywhere between $1,000,000 – $5,000,000, which is how the 2.5 million average was nailed. For a power couple like JLo and ARod, with a combined net worth of roughly $700,000,000, this amount is really not much.
Now that JLo and ARod are engaged, the count down is on for the wedding, although no date has been announced. We can’t wait to see if the two will seal their love in an elaborate wedding, keep things low key or simply elope! Jennifer lopez engaged
