The Oscars is the final and most anticipated event of the awards season and as usual, it lived up to its hype last night. Many of Hollywood’s finest gathered at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles to celebrate the most outstanding films of the past year. As our faves made their way down the red carpet, it became obvious that most of them saved the best for last.
The 2019 Oscars red carpet was filled with a number of stunning beauty trends that would convert even the most devout ‘no-makeup’ faithful. The trends included a variation of fresh-faced makeup looks led by Emilia Clarke which she paired with a well-trimmed bob hairstyle.
Emma Stone wore a monochromatic look with her hair colour matching her outfit while Constance Wu showed us that a sleek ponytail updo paired with red lippie and yellow dress is a match made in beauty heaven.
Also spotted on the red carpet were Hollywood classics like red lips, cat eye makeup and sleek creative updos, but our absolute fave beauty look has to be the braided hairdos on Kiki Layne, Danai Gurira and Amandla Stenberg.
