Whitney Madueke is a fast-rising influencer, model, photographer and public speaker. But before her creative side came calling, Whitney was on a formal career path, serving the Supreme Court of Nigeria as a barrister and solicitor.
In responding to her creative calling, in January 2017, Whitney moved to the fashion capital of New York to pursue a fashion design certificate from The New School – Parsons at Open Campus. It was after this move that her creative skills began to further unfold and evolve.
Through her budding YouTube channel, Whitney Madueke has since become better known as a natural hair and beauty influencer. Being in an era where more black women are starting to accept their natural hair, Whitney is one of the voices championing the natural hair cause, if we can call it that. She shares her hair journey on YouTube to show people that the natural hair experience is beautiful and fun.
She also regularly shares personal hair care and beauty tips, especially techniques on how to take care of your natural hair on her social media handles. Always enthusiastic about her craft, Whitney is definitely one blogger that makes us fall in love over and over again with natural hair. And by sharing one creative hairstyle after the other, she proves that there’s so much you can do with your natural kinky hair. This girl definitely loves her ‘fro!
